My personal Guidelines
Below are the guidelines I personally incorporate in order to create a holistic lifestyle that gives me a stable ground to focus on my career and enjoy my life at its most!
I want to highlight this is guidelines, not rules! I adapt my guidelines to my weeks i.e. every week is not the same*.
Also, these are my guidelines, make sure to create your own i.e. use mine as examples & inspiration.

Stay Active
Hit around 10.000 steps per day.
Sweat 3-4 times per week (run, bike or HIIT WO).
why?
I get energy and feel good if i am active. I sleep better and get less stressed.
how?
I walk everywhere i can rather than taking transportation. I plan "work out time" in my calendar.
.

Sleep
Get around 8-9 hours of sleep per night.
I listen to my body, if i feel i need more sleep, i will sleep more.
why?
I (like everyone) need sleep to recover and feel good.
how?
I try to go to bed and wake up approximately at the same time every day.

Nourishment
I focus on whole foods (I am mainly eat plant based).
I listen to my body and eat mindfully.
I treat myself occasionally (80/20 rule).
why?
To feel good and energized.
how?
I cook a lot at home and I listen to my body by eating when I am hungry.

Calm Down
Start each day with some yoga
During very stressful and intense periods at work, I also try to incorporate some 5-10 minutes mind fullness sessions throughout the day.
I do things that i love such as cooking and drinking tea with friends.
why?
Being calm and out of stress makes me feel in peace and be the best version of myself.
how?
I plan better. Examples:
(1) put my alarm 30 minutes earlier in the morning so I don't have to rush in the morning.
(2) I do not plan too many activities after work to eliminate the feeling of needing to leave at a specific time every day.
(3) I eat a snack in the afternoon so I don't have to rush home cause I am starving.
All this may sound silly, but it is really a change in behaviour that has helped me to get calmer.
*
I keep my phone in my bag throughout the day.
*
Limited social media time i.e only outside work hours and during the night.
*
I take mini breaks throughout the day. Example: if I have a 5 minutes break between meetings I will focus on breathing and just look out the windows, rather than checking social media etc.

Laugh
To have fun and do things that I love as much as i can like cooking, joking with my colleagues, spend time with friends in different forms, watch tv shows, etc.,
why?
Because having a laugh and a lot of fun makes life so much better, having fun is never a waist of time. What truly matters in the end of the day is if you are happy.
how?
I am always trying to be positive and see the bright side of things. I make sure to do things I love every day. I am trying not being too serious about everything at work, everyone needs a laugh throughout the day!
Important note - Every week is not the same:
*Example: one week could be extremely intense at work, then I might not work out so much that week or do so many social activities, while another week may be calmer at work, then I work out and see friends more. I always listen to my body, it knows what I need right now!
